Accepts Medicaid/Medicare. Any individuals without insurance and without ability to pay will still receive care.
Any person or family who is homeless, about to be homeless, or assisting someone facing homelessness, and requiring emergency assistance must first contact the Homeless Helpline administered by the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust.

Services: housing placement (applications, utility deposits, furniture, appliances, etc.), case management, healthcare (medical, dental, and behavioral), children services (family dorms, a Family Resource Center, and a Head Start-funded day care for children up to age 5), job development and placement services (interview clothes, bus passes, certification fees, job search, etc.), and dog care.
Lotus House is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women, youth, and children/families. It provides sanctuary, support, education, tools and resources. In addition to shelter, they have wellness resources and education/employment resources. They are also given clothes and furniture by the Lotus House Thrift Chic Boutique. Through Rainbow Lotus Program they expand their services to the LGBTQ community providing a supportive and nurturing environment for LGBTQ homeless.
