PARTNER CLINICS

SAC

Special Adolescent Clinic

All youth diagnosed as HIV-positive are linked to care either at University of Miami’s Special Adolescent Clinic (SAC) or other community specialty health care providers who are comfortable seeing young people. Both ACTS and SAC are housed in the same building, and staff from both programs work under the same medical director. ACTS counselors work with the social work team and medical staff on transitioning a newly diagnosed patient to SAC. Comprehensive and confidential health care and case management are available.
