Who would have thought Spring Break in March would have been the last time people could be in large gatherings without a care in the world. It is crazy to imagine that masks being worn everywhere you go would be the new norm, this is our new life. You cannot even cough or sneeze in public without having the fear of being judged or the fact that everyone knows by now how far apart six feet is. Life is not the same and is constantly at risk when you hang out with your friends, go to class or work, even being around family. One breath of fresh air could also be your last.

This pandemic affects everyone regardless of race, class, social status, or gender. Whether you are a student or working class, having the ability to go to class everyday or see your coworkers at work has now been changed to virtual or hybrid. I wish I never took life before COVID-19 for granted, now classes are much more work since it is online, I lost motivation to attend class since it is recorded, lost so many opportunities and internships because they had to be cancelled, I barely even see my friends or family. Going to work is a risk because you are surrounded by your coworkers and one person could affect everyone. The worst part of it all with Coronoavirus is that it only takes one person to affect thousands of people. Having that sudden fear that you could possibly be a part of the statistic as the number of cases arise, especially when many people are asymptomatic, or finding out someone you know has coronavirus is something no one could prepare for nor prevent fully. Coronavirus is only a breath away.

Mwen swete mwen pa janm pran lavi anvan COVID-19 pou yo akòde, kounye a klas yo se pi plis travay depi li se sou entènèt, mwen pèdi motivasyon ale nan klas depi li anrejistre, pèdi opòtinite anpil ak estaj paske yo te dwe anile, mwen apèn menm wè zanmi mwen oswa fanmi mwen.
